Terms of Service

Welcome to Own24. These Terms are the agreement between you and Zendon Labs LLC, an Illinois company ("we", "us", "our"), when you use Own24 ("the app"). We've kept them as short and plain as we could.

1. Using Own24

By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Own24. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

2. Your account

• Give us real information when you sign up. One account per person.
• Keep your password safe. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• If you sign in with Apple or Google, the same rules apply to that provider account.
• You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account → Delete Account.

3. Own24 Pro (subscriptions)

Own24 offers an optional paid subscription called Own24 Pro with extra features.

• Price & billing. The price and billing period are shown in the app before you purchase and are charged to your Apple ID through the App Store.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancelling. You can cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your Own24 account does not cancel an App Store subscription.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy. Contact Apple Support to request one.
• 14-day Pro experience. Eligible new Own24 accounts may start 14 days of Pro features without a payment card. This experience does not auto-charge or automatically become a paid subscription. When it ends, the account returns to the Free experience unless you separately purchase Pro through Apple.

4. Your content

Everything you create inside Own24 — your activities, sessions, reviews, notes — belongs to you. We store it on your behalf and use it only to run the service for you.

You give us a limited license to store, back up, process, and display your content so the app can work as described. That license ends when the content or account is deleted, except for limited copies that must temporarily remain in backups, security records, operational logs, or records retained to comply with law.

5. What you agree not to do

• Use Own24 for anything illegal.
• Try to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the app or our servers.
• Scrape or automate access to the app.
• Abuse, harass, or harm others through the app.
• Use the app in a way that violates someone else's rights.

If you do any of these, we may suspend or terminate your account.

6. Our service

We work hard to keep Own24 running, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or bug-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the service as a whole, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can export your data.

7. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Own24 anytime by deleting your account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if your account is dormant for a long time.

8. Disclaimer

Own24 is a personal productivity and time-review tool. It does not provide medical, health, financial, legal, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

Own24 is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any data will be preserved without loss.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zendon Labs LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of Own24. Our total liability for any claim relating to Own24 is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$50.

10. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded Own24 from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that this agreement is between you and Zendon Labs LLC, not Apple, and that Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of Own24 after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
